Banner North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse Vascular Access Specialist for night shifts to join a unique RN/RRT vascular access team. The role focuses on ultrasound-guided IV placements, dialysis catheter care, and managing a variety of specialty vascular devices across NICU to geriatric patients.

The team collaborates across disciplines with strong leadership, serving primarily the Greeley base with occasional emergent coverage to Fort Collins.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of bedside nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, emergent environment.

Responsibilities

• Place and manage ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs.
• Insert and care for dialysis catheters.
• Respond to emergent vascular access needs.
• Place a broad range of vascular devices beyond standard PICC lines.
• Provide vascular access support across NICU to geriatric populations.
• Collaborate with RNs and RRTs in a multidisciplinary team.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff and discharge planning.
• Demonstrate leadership and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Work independently to provide excellent patient care.
