Job summary

The Registered Nurse II PRN at JPS Health Network provides skilled nursing care in the Cardiovascular Services division, focusing on vascular access. The role requires meeting minimum shifts per the RN PRN Workplan and collaborating with the care team at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

You will assess, plan, implement and document care, discharge planning, patient education, and adherence to EMTALA where applicable.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher degree required.
• Texas RN license or reciprocity within 90 days.
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Orientation to unit within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process.
• Discharge planning and patient education.
• Accurate documentation in medical records and systems.
• Collaborate with care team and physicians.
