Zusammenfassung

Mercy Health in Kentucky seeks an RN PICC Nurse to provide vascular access, including PICC lines and peripheral IVs, with ultrasound support as needed. You’ll educate teammates, chart care details, and collaborate on patient assessments and treatments.

Requirements include an active nursing license in Kentucky, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years of nursing experience. PICC certification within one year is preferred. Join our Nursing Administration team.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in Nursing (state license required).
• Preferred: BSN within 5 years of start date.

Aufgaben

• Provides vascular access, placing PICC lines and peripheral IVs, with or without ultrasound.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot vascular access devices including central lines.
• Educates team members on vascular access care.
• Responsible for charting patient care.
• Communicates with Team Lead about patient assessments and treatments.
• Collects data for patient safety and quality.
• Daily assessment of IV sites and dressing changes as required.
