Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent- The Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join the vascular access team. You will place PICC lines, midlines, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs, assess line necessity, perform dressings, and communicate with providers about line removals.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, daily line assessments, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to determine the safest access device for each patient’s needs.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making while communicating with the team to ensure the safest patient environment.
