Advocate Health Care is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Vascular Access at Good Shepherd Barrington, IL. This 24-hour-per-week position features rotating weekends and holidays and offers benefit eligibility.

You will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A BSN is preferred; active RN license and BLS are required, with 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• Possibly float to other units to meet patient care needs.
