Job summary

Methodist Health System seeks a Vascular Access RN to provide expert bedside vascular access across inpatient units, performing ultrasound-guided insertions and maintaining IVs, midlines, and PICC lines.

You will assess line necessity and complications, collaborate with physicians and bedside nurses, educate staff and patients on line care, follow evidence-based protocols, ensure infection prevention, document in the EMR, support rapid response needs, and precept peers in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with vascular access expertise.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided line placement.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided insertion and maintenance of IVs, midlines, and PICC lines.
• Assess line necessity and monitor for complications.
• Collaborate with physicians and bedside nurses.
