Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse license.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification from an affiliated American Heart Association training site.
• Three years RN experience with vascular access competency.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for vascular access needs based on diagnosis and history.
• Place peripheral IVs and PICC lines; manage VADs and ports as assigned.
• Provide patient education on PICC line care and maintenance.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and documentation.
