Job summary

VTP Holdings is seeking a Vascular Access Nurse Consultant in Riverside, California. This per diem role involves working with hospital and non-hospital settings, traveling to multiple patient sites to resolve venous access issues and support physician treatment objectives.

Typically four shifts per month with 8-hour days, evening shifts preferred. RN with current license and BLS required; vascular access and ultrasound guidance experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current license.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines and peripheral IVs with ultrasound and confirm with ECG.
• Assist with management of PICCs and Vascular Access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff regarding PICCs, midlines and CVADs.
