Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to provide vascular access services for the Houston/Beaumont market as part of Advanced Primary Care Practice. The role performs PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions with emphasis on patient care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.

The RN will serve as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities, ensuring timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery while collaborating with nursing staff

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with peripheral IV placement, midline, and PICC placement.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions.
• Assess patients to determine vascular access needs.
• Utilize ultrasound guidance when indicated.
• Maintain infection prevention and sterile technique.

Job Summary

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) provides vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department of Cantex. This role performs Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions while ensuring exceptional patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and full regulatory compliance. The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.

QualificationsQualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV placement, Midline placement, & PICC placement.
• Experience with ultrasound‑guided vascular access
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills

• Assess patients to determine appropriate vascular access needs
• Utilize ultrasound technology when clinically indicated
