The Vascular Access RN role at Cantex Continuing Care Network delivers vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department of Cantex. This role performs PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions with emphasis on patient care and accurate documentation.

Requires Texas RN license and BLS, ultrasound-guided access experience, and strong assessment and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.

• Experience with Peripheral IV, Midline, and PICC placements.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access.

Responsibilities

• Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions.
• Assess patients to determine vascular access needs.
• Utilize ultrasound when indicated.

• Collaborate with facility nursing staff, medical providers, and leadership.
• Maintain professional communication with assigned facilities.

Job Summary

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) provides vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department of Cantex. This role performs Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions while ensuring exceptional patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and full regulatory compliance. The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.

QualificationsQualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV placement, Midline placement, & PICC placement.
• Experience with ultrasound‑guided vascular access
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
