Cantex seeks a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to provide vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market. You will perform PIV, Midline, and PICC insertions with a focus on patient care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.

As the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities, you will ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery, collaborating with staff and leadership while supporting quality initiatives and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Competency in peripheral IV, midline, and PICC placements.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions.
• Assess patients to determine vascular access needs.
• Utilize ultrasound technology when indicated.
• Follow infection prevention and sterile technique standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and leadership.

Job Summary

The Vascular Access Registered Nurse (RN) provides vascular access services across the Houston/Beaumont market for Advanced Primary Care Practice, an ancillary department of Cantex. This role performs Peripheral IV (PIV), Midline, and PICC insertions while ensuring exceptional patient care, accurate clinical documentation, and full regulatory compliance. The Vascular Access RN serves as the primary vascular access resource for assigned facilities and ensures timely, efficient, and high‑quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Texas RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated competency in Peripheral IV placement, Midline placement, & PICC placement.
• Experience with ultrasound‑guided vascular access
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
