A leading pediatric health system is seeking a Vascular Access Registered Nurse to provide expert vascular access services, mentor staff, and enhance patient care. The role requires strong pediatric nursing experience and expertise in vascular access procedures.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current MN nursing license.
BLS certification.
Current 2-3 years of pediatric nursing experience
Current minimum 1 year expertise in vascular access with children.
Competent in assessment and treatment of VAD sites for all complications.
Ultrasound guided PIV placement, 1 year experience required
An informational meeting with the Patient Care Manager is required prior to awarding the position.
The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
