Job summary

Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC, is seeking a RN to join our Vascular Access Team. You will insert and manage vascular access devices and collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to support safe, efficient patient care.

The role offers a comprehensive orientation, night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the appropriate state required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1 year relevant hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert and manage vascular access devices (peripheral IVs, PICCs, midlines, central lines, ports).
• Assess patients and select appropriate vascular access plan.
• Troubleshoot and resolve vascular access complications.
• Serve as vascular access expert for nursing and providers across the hospital.
• Support timely treatment with reliable vascular access services across care settings.
