Job summary

VIC the PICC (VTP) is seeking experienced RNs for the Vascular Access Nurse Consultant role. You’ll place PICCs and other CVADs, work across hospital and non-hospital sites, and collaborate with clinical teams to meet treatment goals.

This full-time position offers 12 PM–12 AM shifts, weekend/holiday rotation, sign-on bonus up to $10,000, benefits from day one, a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement, and ongoing education to advance vascular access skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the US.
• Experience placing ultrasound-guided IVs (USGIVs).
• Experience in vascular access device (VAD) management, including care, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• American Heart BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and meet scheduling requirements as indicated by job classification.
• Must possess a smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Place PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs using ultrasound guidance.
• Utilize ECG technology for PICC tip confirmation.
• Assist with management of PICCs and other vascular access devices.
• Provide vascular access support services including port access, line removal, and declotting.
• Educate facility nursing staff on PICCs, midlines, and other CVADs.
