Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Night Shift Vascular Access Nurse to manage vascular access devices for pediatric patients. The role requires careful assessment, device selection, and maintenance of PICCs, midlines, and peripheral IVs, with a focus on safety and family education.
Qualifications include a BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years, current Ohio RN licensure, and strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
36 hrs/week, nights, 7p-7a, every third weekend, holiday rotation.
Pay to commensurate with experience. Benefits eligible.
Inserts and manages vascular access devices for patients undergoing medical treatments.
BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire, required.
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio, required.
One year post orientation related clinical experience in area of specialty, preferred.
