Job summary

Neko in Miami is seeking an experienced Sonographer to independently perform abdominal and vascular ultrasounds as part of our preventive health scans. You will deliver accurate, same-session reports and work autonomously within escalation protocols.

This full-time role requires RDMS-AB and vascular certification, plus at least two years of post-cert reporting experience. Strong communication with patients and clinicians is essential.

Qualifications

• ARDMS Abdomen RDMS-AB certification required.
• Vascular certification (RVT or RDMS-VS) required.
• Minimum two years of post-certification independent reporting experience in abdominal and vascular imaging.
• Able to communicate findings to non-medical members and to clinical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal ultrasound examinations including liver, gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, and aorta.
• Perform peripheral vascular studies including arterial and venous assessments of limbs.
• Independently complete scans partnering with radiology and clinical leads.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to integrate findings into full health assessments.
• Follow escalation protocols and document findings in the medical record.
• Liaise with consulting specialists for escalation or second opinions.
• Participate in QA activities including audits and peer review.
• Contribute to ultrasound protocol improvements as the US model evolves.
