Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a VAS Property Tax Consultant to meet the property tax needs of CBRE's clients, including appeals and estimates. You will serve as the primary client interface for daily operations and communicate with taxing authorities as needed.

The role involves evaluating properties for appeal, preparing valuation appeals, mentoring staff, and contributing to billing processes while maintaining state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary client interface for daily operations.
• Communicate with taxing authorities related to appeals.
• Attend property tax valuation hearings as appropriate.
• Properly communicate with client regarding appeal recommendations.
• Review properties assigned to evaluate whether the property assessment value should be appealed.
• Prepare and complete property valuation appeals.
• Develop new ways in which to more efficiently review and appeal property values.
• Support the preparation of billing.
• Develop ideas targeting areas for new revenue.
• Maintain proper state property tax agent licensing.
• Mentor team members as needed to support clients' needs.

About The Role:
