Job summary

Bunzl Safety is seeking a Production Worker for our Value Added Services (VAS) department in Piperton, TN. You will assemble boxes, perform labeling and packaging tasks, and help ensure quality and on-time production for 2nd shift (2:00pm-11:00pm).

Responsibilities include labeling, inspecting, and preparing goods, verifying shipments, maintaining equipment, and upholding safety and OSHA standards in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Safely operate production equipment and machinery after training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform labeling, bagging, boxing, inspecting and preparing finished goods for shipping of the Value-Added Services (VAS) department.
• Ensure all products produced in the VAS department are free of defects and produced according to quality control procedures.
• Verify that inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and in accordance with OSHA standards.
