Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a General Position Summary Co-Pack/VAS Lead in the Romeoville area. The role monitors multiple tasks and assists in Co-pack/VAS operations with limited supervision, including inventory control.

You will supervise warehouse staff, manage timekeeping, restack and label products, and ensure safety across a fast-paced line. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

2 years warehouse experience.
Co-pack, labeling, QA, IC experience.
Warehouse safety experience.
Ability to lead a team with minimal direction.
Computer experience a must.

Responsibilities

Supervise warehouse employees and manage time keeping / roster.
Restack, repack, and label boxes per production and customer needs.
Assemble and build end-cap displays with accuracy.
Operate a fast-paced production line maintaining quality.
Follow safety procedures around machinery and conveyors.
Identify and report packaging defects or jams.
Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked.
Adapt to changing tasks and production priorities.
Communicate with supervisors and teammates to maintain workflow.
Meet daily attendance, punctuality, and productivity expectations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

PAY: $22 to $25 per hour

(pay dependent on shift schedule and equipment certifications)

General Position Summary Co-Pack/VAS Lead:

Responsible for monitoring multiple tasks and assist in Co-pack/VAS operations with limited supervision. Ability to perform basic inventory control tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Supervising / leading of warehouse employees, time keeping / temp roster, inventory checks, cleaning of the warehouse
Restack, repack, and label boxes according to production and customer requirements
Assemble and build new end‑cap displays with accuracy and consistency
Operate efficiently on a fast‑paced production line while maintaining quality standards
Follow all safety procedures when working around machinery, conveyors, and automated systems
Identify and report issues such as packaging defects, labeling errors, or equipment jams
Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work area
Adapt to changing tasks, product types, and production priorities
Communicate with supervisors and teammates to keep workflow running smoothly
Meet daily attendance, punctuality, and productivity expectations
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager

Job Complexity

Good Communication, people skills with problem resolution.
Management skills and to be able to manage employees.
Keep a neat orderly and clean warehouse operation.

Work Experience Requirements

2 years warehouse experience.
Co-pack, labeling, QA, IC experience.
Warehouse safety experience.
Be able to lead a team of associates with minimal direction.
Computer experience a must.

Education Requirements

GED or H.S. Diploma
College is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
Regularly works in an indoor/warehouse environment and required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift or kneel during the work day.
Frequently required to talk, hear, and communicate to customers or other employees.
Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
