Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Joliet, IL seeks a Co-Pack/VAS Lead to supervise warehouse staff and support operations with limited supervision. You will manage inventory checks, labeling, packaging, and ensure safety and productivity targets are met.

The role offers $22 to $25 per hour with attendance, referral and hiring bonuses, plus an Employee Ownership Program. Requires 2 years warehouse experience and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience.
• Co-pack, labeling, QA, IC experience.
• Warehouse safety experience.
• Ability to lead a team with minimal direction.
• Computer experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervising / leading warehouse employees, time keeping / temp roster, inventory checks, cleaning of the warehouse.
• Restack, repack, and label boxes according to production and customer requirements.
• Assemble and build new end-cap displays with accuracy and consistency.
• Operate efficiently on a fast-paced production line while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures around machinery, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Identify and report issues such as packaging defects, labeling errors, or equipment jams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
• Adapt to changing tasks, product types, and production priorities.
• Communicate with supervisors and teammates to keep workflow running smoothly.
• Meet daily attendance, punctuality, and productivity expectations.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Pay

$22 to $25 per hour (pay dependent on shift schedule and equipment certifications).

Pay Incentives

• Attendance Incentive - Up to $2400 bonus for good attendance. (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)

• Hiring Bonus - Up to $1000 (Refer to Policy for Rules and Details)
• Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 per hour
• Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 per hour

Position Summary

Co-Pack/VAS Lead: Responsible for monitoring multiple tasks and assist in Co‑pack/VAS operations with limited supervision. Ability to perform basic inventory control tasks.

Job Responsibilities

Education Requirements

• GED or H.S. Diploma.
• College is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
• Regularly works in an indoor/warehouse environment and required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift or kneel during the work day.
• Frequently required to talk, hear, and communicate to customers or other employees.
• Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
