Job summary

Clark Montessori HS in Cincinnati is seeking a Varsity Head Track Coach to lead the girls and boys track program, overseeing tryouts, practices, and meets. The role requires developing training, mentoring student-athletes, and ensuring safety and compliance with district policies.

The successful candidate will hold coaching certifications, have prior coaching experience, and pass required background checks. This is a part-time supplemental position with collaboration with the Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• Ohio Secondary Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Evidence of successful past coaching experience at the High School and/or College level desired.
• Provide satisfactory result of County Police Records Check, State BCII Check, and a FBI Fingerprint Background Check.
• Possess an Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Activity Permit (PAP).
• Provide proof of completion of CoachesTool Chest (CTC) Training/Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Girls and Boys Track Program including tryouts, practices, and track meets.
• Develop and execute an effective training program.
• Motivate and mentor student-athletes on and off the track.
• Instruct and guide student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training.
• Instruct and guide student-athletes to foster moral values, pride of accomplishment, social behavior, self-discipline and self-confidence.
• Maintain safety and well-being of student-athletes and coordinate with Athletic Director and District.
