Job summary

A public school district in Cambridge is seeking an Assistant Coach who will collaborate with the Head Coach, ensuring athlete safety and adherence to regulations. You will work to develop high school athletes, encouraging communication with parents and community members. A Bachelor's Degree and previous coaching experience are preferred. This role offers a flat rate payment of $2081 for the season, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.

Qualifications

• Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required.
• Current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification.
• Fulfillment of MIAA Coaches Education Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the issue, security, and upkeep of equipment.
• Ensure safety and security of athletes during practices and games.
• Develop communication with community members involved in youth sports.
