Job summary

Greenville Public School District is seeking a Head Football Coach to develop a competitive program and promote student-athlete education. The candidate must have varsity head coaching experience and be eligible for a full-time teaching position in the district; CDL is preferred or obtainable within 30 days of appointment.

Responsibilities include program planning, compliance with laws and district policies, coordinating with school staff, ensuring eligibility, and maintaining safe facilities

Qualifications

• Eligible for a full-time teaching position in Greenville Public School District.
• Head coaching experience at the Varsity level.
• CDL preferred or obtainable within thirty (30) days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• To comply with school and school board policies and regulations.
• To cooperate with the total staff and relate positively to parents and community.
• To demonstrate professional growth and maintain required records and reports.
• To ensure the eligibility of all players and care for equipment and facilities.
• To maintain a neat, safe environment for student-athletes under the coach’s care.
