Job summary

Brockton Public Schools Athletics Department in Brockton, MA is seeking a Varsity Head Swim Coach for the Men’s team for the 2026/27 season. The coach will recruit within the district, train athletes, and lead the swim program in accordance with MIAA rules and district policies.

The role requires experience coaching high school swim, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and school administrators.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience coaching Swim at the high school level.
• Knowledge of MIAA rules, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with administrators, officials, staff, parents, and students.
• Use a variety of instructional techniques and media to develop student athletes.

Responsibilities

• Recruit within the school and district; train and coach team members.
• Ensure equipment and uniforms are maintained and inventoried.
• Develop practice schedules and assign team positions; determine game strategy.
• Hold preseason meetings with athletes and parents; support college recruitment.
