The ideal candidate will have knowledge of sports regulations, necessary certifications, and provide effective communication with athletes and families. They will assist with all aspects of the swim program from pre-season to post-season, ensuring a successful and compliant athletic experience.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of MIAA rules and coaching policies.
• Certification in concussion awareness and CPR/AED is required.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. must be valid by employment start.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily team activities during the season.
• Monitor registration and check equipment inventory.
• Communicate with families about schedules and updates.
• Collect uniforms and confirm student eligibility post-season.

Skills

Knowledge of MIAA rules and policies

Concussion awareness training certification

CPR/AED certification

Current authorization to work in the United States

Education

High School coaching experience or equivalent
