Job summary

Hawken School seeks an experienced Head Coach for Boys Varsity Lacrosse for the 2026-2027 school year and 2027 season. The role requires respectful leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to building a positive, inclusive lacrosse culture.

Qualifications

• High school and/or college level coaching experience desired.
• Ability to teach lacrosse skills and concepts with enthusiasm and positivity.
• Strong organizational skills for all season planning and programming.
• Demonstrated values of discipline, respect, integrity and fair play.

Responsibilities

• Lead a highly competitive boys lacrosse program aligned with Hawken’s mission.
• Oversee varsity, middle school and youth lacrosse programs.
• Plan and execute practices, trainings, and game preparation.
• Hire and manage coaching staff across levels.
• Manage communications with players, families, boosters and community.
• Run Hawken lacrosse summer camps (additional stipend).
• Coordinate with strength/conditioning, sports medicine, and SID.
