Zusammenfassung

The Apache Junction Unified School District is seeking a Boys Basketball Varsity Assistant Coach at Apache Junction High School for the 26-27 season. This seasonal stipend position reports to the Athletic Coordinator or Principal and requires a commitment to safety, ethics, and community engagement.

Qualified applicants must have NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Concussion in Sports certifications, CPR/First Aid, a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, and a teaching certificate or coaching

Qualifikationen

NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching certification or approved equivalent.
Concussion in Sports certification required.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Fingerprint Clearance Card with IVP # and background check.
Knowledge of sport rules and safety concerns.

Aufgaben

Coach student athletes in assigned responsibility.
Organize and supervise the overall sports program.
Establish rapport with students, staff and community.
Promote ethical behavior and confidentiality.
Promote safe practices to reduce injuries.
Foster camaraderie through team activities and community involvement.
Attend district or AIA meetings as directed.
Other duties as assigned.
