Job summary

The Coed Varsity Bowling Coach in Parchment School District is responsible for organizing the bowling program under the Athletic Director. The coach will conduct practices, motivate students, and teach game strategies and techniques.

Qualifications include prior coaching experience at high school or college level, knowledge of bowling rules and techniques, and effective coaching skills. Travel to events and collaboration with prospects by email/phone may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level.
• Knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of Bowling.
• Possess effective coaching techniques and skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs the Bowling program
• Develop team and individual strategies through on-court/field teaching and video instruction
• Design instructional programs for the team and individual student athletes and instruct student-athletes on how to implement a game plan as determined for each competition
• Travel to events and evaluate potential student-athlete talent, correspond with all prospects via email, phone, face to face conversations, etc.
• Maintain a competitive schedule that will allow the team to prepare and compete successfully in the conference, as well as, in post-season play
• Other duties as assigned
