Job summary

Lewisburg Area High School is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as the Game Manager for varsity boys basketball. You will coordinate home game operations, supervise staff, and ensure equipment and facilities are ready for each game.

You will also manage communications with visiting teams and officials, maintain records, and assist with promoting games to boost community attendance. Flexible evenings/weekends are required during the season.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience in sports management or event coordination is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all home varsity boys basketball game operations.
• Manage game day staff, officials, scorekeepers, and scheduling.
• Ensure equipment, uniforms, scoreboards are prepared and functional.
• Serve as primary contact for visiting teams, officials, and event staff.
• Maintain accurate game records including scores and attendance.
• Assist in promoting games via social media and other channels.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and league rules.
• Collaborate with coaches and athletic staff to support the basketball program.
