Job summary

Academy School District 20 seeks an athletic program coach to lead and develop a high school sports program. You will supervise practices, mentor student-athletes, coordinate with the Athletic Director, and manage equipment, schedules, and growth opportunities.

The role requires ASEP/CHSAA/NFHS coaching certifications, a high school diploma, and a commitment to student education and safety. This is a part-time on-site position supporting Air Academy High School sports.

Qualifications

• ASEP Certification - American Sport Education Program.
• CHSAA Certification - Colorado High School Activities Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NFHS Coaching Fundamentals Certification.
• Teacher License: Initial or Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports consistently for work as scheduled.
• Communicates high expectations for athlete behavior and reinforces expectations.
• Communicates regularly with the Athletic Director.
• Develops and supervises a sports program for growth and development.
• Plans practices and schedules to maximize learning and performance.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and inventory managed.
