The ideal candidate has Alpine Ski coaching experience, familiarity with MIAA rules, and relevant certifications (Concussion, CPR/AED, and MIAA Coaches Education preferred).

Qualifications

• Alpine Ski coaching experience desired.
• Knowledge of the MIAA Handbook and rules.
• Experience coaching at high school or college level desired.
• Concussion Certification required.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
• MIAA Coaches Education Certification preferred.
• Effective communication with school admin, faculty, parents and student‑athletes.
• Ability to supervise student‑athletes at events.
• Promote a positive learning environment for all team members.
• Flexible schedule for home games and away bus travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Alpine Ski program for Westwood High School.
• Plan and oversee practices and competitions.
• Ensure safety and adherence to concussion protocols.
• Coordinate transportation and scheduling for away games.
• Communicate with administration, coaches, parents and student‑athletes.
• Uphold MIAA rules and policies across all activities.
