Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Hawthorne Lane is a boutique firm specializing in recruitment for Legal Secretary and Legal Executive Assistant roles in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. We work with a select group of law firms and corporate legal departments that seek top quality legal support professionals. Our recruiting team is here to provide guidance in your search. Key Responsibilities:

  • Variety of duties ranging in complexity including scheduling needs for meetings, appointments, and events; updating calendars and Partners, attorneys or senior leadership to changes or requests.
  • Opportunity to work in one-to-one or team support positions.
  • Positions that require anywhere from two to three years of legal support experience to industry-specific and high-level legal secretary and legal executive assistant support experience.
  • Organize travel booking, including ground transportation, accommodations and requested agendas.
  • Edit and organize legal documents, update client and company files, and follow up on client engagement.
  • Assist with legal research, fact gathering, and maintaining files.
  • Prepare and process expense reports and client billing.
