Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Math or equivalent.
2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Design/Release/Manufacturing Experience.

Responsibilities

Assist with dimensional strategies and tolerance allocation through variation simulations.
Build and run 3D variation models using approved engineering methods and tools.
Develop or support compliant variation models accounting for part stiffness and material behavior.
Combine 3D variation simulation with CAE analyses to evaluate dimensional performance and identify improvements.
Identify dimensional risks and communicate recommended actions to cross-functional partners.
Participate in reviews with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, and plant teams.
Maintain clear technical documentation, action plans, and status updates.
Apply GM processes, standards, lessons learned, and engineering best practices.
