Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Breast Care Center Mammography Technician for variable-shift PRN work. You will perform screening and diagnostic mammo with Stereotactic, Contrast Mammography and DEXA, under the Breast Center Radiologist guidance.

The role requires ARRT, Texas licensure, and BLS within 14 days of hire. You will operate across main facility and outreach sites, ensuring high-quality images and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• ARRT Certification in Radiological Technology.
• Texas Department of Health Licensure.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient services using imaging modalities (Stereotactic, Contrast Mammography, DEXA).
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, troubleshoot, and manage stress.
• Work well with others and communicate effectively.
• Follow Radiologist and department procedures; ensure radiation safety.
• Complete exams at main facility, detached facilities, and outreach settings.
• Maintain image quality, positioning, and basic QC.

Associate's Degree or certificate from CAHEA-approved Radiological Technology Program
