Job summary

Halperns’ Steak & Seafood is seeking a Van Driver to ensure courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of Halperns’ products to our customers in a reliable and safe manner.

You will operate company equipment, maintain attention to detail, and uphold Halperns’ standards. Applicants must be 21+, pass a drug test and background check, and have a clean DOT record, with consent to the Clearinghouse.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT standards.
• Registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Position Summary:

Presents a positive image to Halperns’ Steak and Seafood customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of Halperns’ products. Operates Halperns’ equipment in a professional and safe manner demonstrating attention to detail and safe work habits.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check.
• Clean driving record, as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
• You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.
