Van Driver / Backup Warehouse Associate - (Austin)

Join us as a Van Driver / Backup Warehouse Associate at Ridwell.

We operate in Austin, providing essential services to collect recyclable and reusable items from customers' doorsteps, matching them with local partners for sustainable use. Position Details

Wages: $19/hour
Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Tenure-based raises: at 6 months and 1 year

Responsibilities

1. Operate Ridwell high-roof cargo vans safely across Austin.
2. Complete 100-125 stops daily, collecting materials and assisting with route completion.
3. Navigate routes using smartphone apps and maintain communication with support teams.
4. Manage vehicle loading/unloading efficiently.
5. Deliver bins and kits, providing excellent customer service.
6. Support warehouse duties such as sorting materials, operating equipment, and preparing shipments.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 49 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Own and operate a smartphone with GPS capabilities.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Pass background and driving checks.
