Northbridge Communities is seeking a Van Driver/Activities Assistant in Andover, MA. This role supports residents with transportation to appointments and events and collaborates with the Engagement Director to plan enjoyable activities.

The position emphasizes safety, empathy, and active participation in resident well-being, with opportunities to engage in meaningful programs and community life.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a passenger van safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, outings, and community events.
• Ensure the comfort and well-being of passengers during transit.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the van safely.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the van, conducting routine inspections.
• Assist in community programs and activities as needed.
• Connect with residents personally to tailor activities to their interests.

Van Driver Job Summary

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents. As a Van Driver, you'll contribute to the well-being of our community members by providing reliable transportation for various activities and appointments. When there are no drives to be done, you'll work with the Engagement Director to make our residents' lives more enjoyable with fun and engaging activities. Your role involves creating experiences that cater to their physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, making our community vibrant and lively.

Responsibilities:
