Job description

Are you looking for a little something extra in your pocket? Like to interact with the elderly? Then please apply for our part-time/PRN position with flexible hours. We are looking for a driver for our 10-passenger van to take our residents to appointments and outings. Must be able to do an occasional evening and weekend trip with our residents.

The Van Driver is an integral part of the care team. As a van driver you:

1. Must be 18 years or older
2. Have a current driver’s License with a clean record
3. Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety procedures
4. Ability to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerate
5. Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all community procedures and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks, and demonstrate initiative
