Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Van Driver in Newburgh, Indiana. This position involves assisting and accompanying patients during transfers to and from the facility, while providing direct care to a diverse patient population.

The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, CPR and First Aid training, and prior transportation experience. The role requires working 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist and accompany all patients transferred to and from the facility via the van.
• Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Job description

The Van Driver performs a variety of direct patient care activities including: assisting and accompanying all patients who are transferred to and from the facility via the facility van and assisting in maintenance when the van activities are complete. This position provides direct patient care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Hours: 4 10-hour days M-F 10am-830pm and every other Saturday up to 4 hours as needed

License or Certification
