Job summary

The Birches at New Hope is seeking a dependable driver to transport residents to appointments and activities in a safe, courteous manner. You will ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained, and you will handle necessary paperwork for each trip.

We value a compassionate approach to seniors, strong English communication, and a clean driving record. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities to contribute to residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for helping seniors.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• CDL license preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or GED is required; no more than two moving violations in three years on driving record.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations.
• Enforce safety rules when traveling.
• Ensure vehicle is serviced and maintained in a safe, clean state.
• Secure all paperwork for appointments and deliver to appropriate persons.

Job Responsibilities Include

Qualifications

• Requires excellent driving skills and knowledgeof automobile service requirements with a minimum of 1 years’ driving experience
• Operates a 7 to 15 passenger vehicle – CDL license preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Certificates/ Licenses: A valid driver’s license is required for the state in which the hiring community is located.. No more than two moving violations in athree-year period on the driving record.
