Job summary

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital and a start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In this role you will pick up patients enrolled in the day program and return them home, and you will transport patients home after discharge and to medical appointments, court, etc., as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PA driver’s license with no DUI/DWI in the past seven years.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1+ year of transport experience preferred; previous work with behavioral health population strongly preferred; ability to drive 15+ passenger vehicle.

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services.

In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women’s trauma unit.

Qualifications

What Does LBHH Require for this Role?

• Licensure: Must have a valid PA Drivers License. No DUI/DWI in the past seven (7) years. No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience: One (1) or more years of prior transport experience preferred. Previous experience working with behavioral health population strongly preferred. Must demonstrate ability to drive 15+ passenger vehicle.
• Ability to work 7:00am to 10:00am and/or 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
