• Maintain professionalism with staff, parents, volunteers, and children.
• Create a warm environment supporting children’s growth.
• Assist in designing bus routes and drive on designated routes five days a week.
• Ensure children board and leave the bus safely.
• Return children to parents or authorized adults.
• Ensure children are seated safely.
• Keep buses in good condition and report issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• Assist in maintaining center facilities and vehicles.
• Participate in required drug and alcohol testing and document In-Kind contributions.
• Manage transportation data.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least three months of bus driving experience.
• Good driving record.
• Minimum age: 25 years.
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain a school bus endorsement.
• Pass DOT physical annually.
• Pass drug screening prior to employment.
• Complete Bus Driver Road Test successfully.
