The Psychosocial Rehabilitation, or PSR, Program is open six (6) days a week, Monday - Saturday. As a PSR Aide, your typical work day is from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday, there is one evening shift a week (approx. 6:30pm), and staff rotate Saturday (8:00am - 4:30pm) coverages.
The Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) program in the counties of Bollinger, Cape, Madison, Perry, and Ste. Genevieve provide a variety of supportive and rehabilitative services to individuals living with chronic mental illnesses. PSR offers opportunities for educational, career, social, and recreational activities on-site and in the community. The program serves adult clients 18 years of age or older and operates five or more days each week, and with the evening activities often planned. Vans owned by the center will transport members to the PSR and for the community based on activities.
Responsible for providing support to consumers and PSR staff and is responsible for the routine transport of consumers to and from the PSR program; Assists PSR staff with activities which include clerical, kitchen duties, group work or other activities as assigned.
