Atlantic Valve Services (AVS) is a full-service safety relief and control valve repair center supporting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Region. Our team of highly skilled technicians perform a range of services including valve repair, in-line testing, upgrades/modifications, and turnkey outage solutions for the process industries.

VALVE TECHNICIAN
(SEASONAL WORKFORCE PARTNER)

Proconex, recognized by Emerson as a Premier Service Provider, offers comprehensive valve repair services supporting all makes and models of industrial valves. Our facilities include a full-service PRV/control/isolation diagnostics and repair center in Swedesboro, NJ, and an assembly and diagnostics facility in Royersford, PA.

We are targeting skilled technicians in the following areas:

• AOV (Air Operated Valve) Instrumentation & Controls Technician
  • Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on Air Operated Valves, actuators, and instrumentation.
  • Handles installation and removal of instrumentation.
  • Conducts diagnostic testing and data analysis.
  • Troubleshoots valve problems.
  • Follows strict safety protocols, especially in nuclear and process industries.
• MOV (Motor Operated Valve) & Actuation Technician
  • Performs maintenance on MOV actuators.
  • Disassembles, inspects, and lubricates components.
  • Handles installation, limit switch setting, torque adjustments, and calibration.
  • Adheres to safety standards.

Requirements:

• Technical school training or relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in process valve repair, assembly, and calibration.
• Experience supporting outages or shutdowns; nuclear outage experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of AOV diagnostics and software like Flowscanner/Quiklook is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and customer interface ability.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment.
• Ability to obtain a nuclear plant badge.
