Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a mechanically inclined Valve Technician for both shop and field work in Longview, TX. The role requires 2–3 years hands-on experience with pumps and valves, with preferred experience in control valves and a solid mechanical foundation.

Training will be provided to expand skills. The position offers full-time employment with a schedule of approximately 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed, and travel to customer locations as required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years hands-on experience with pumps and/or valves.
• Control-valve experience preferred but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn valve repair.
• Experience with industrial equipment, maintenance, millwright, electrical, or instrumentation is helpful.
• Technical education or mechanical training a plus.
• Basic computer skills (Word & Excel).
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, evaluate, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
• Support work involving control valves, isolation valves, pressure relief valves, regulators, and actuators.
• Identify equipment issues and determine the parts or repairs needed.
• Complete repair reports, service documentation, and timesheets.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal team members.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional shop and field duties as assigned.
