Job summary

MasterTech is seeking a Valve/Instrumentation Technician in the Springfield, IL region for traveling field service to client sites. You will work with Control Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, Oil & Gas, Power and Fluid Sealing applications, with overnight travel expected.

Schedule is Monday through Friday with overtime potential; valid driver's license required and pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to repair and install equipment independently.
• Educate customers on operation and maintenance.
• Service software related to valves and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites for field service across the Springfield, IL region.
• Repair, install and Commission control valves and related equipment.

We have a new opening for a Valve/Instrumentation Technician in the Springfield, IL region. This position provides an opportunity for Traveling Field Service to client sites, working with Control Valves, Pressure Relief Valves, Oil & Gas, Power and Fluid Sealing applications.

Compensation

• $20.00 - $30.00/hour to start.
• 401K Plan, Paid Time Off

Shift/Schedule

• Monday to Friday, OT potential
• Overnight Travel to be expected

Requirements

• Ability to repair, install independently, educate customers and service software
• Efficient with steam traps, gas analyzers, temperature/pressure flow systems
• Valid Drivers License, selected candidates will be subject to pre-employment checks/screening
