Applied Industrial Technologies in Charlotte, NC is seeking a valve technician to repair relief valves, control valves, and pneumatic actuators at our FCX centers or customer sites. You will perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, machining, assembly, and testing under QA/NB VR programs.

The role requires strong math and mechanical skills, good communication, attention to detail, and willingness to travel and work irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 1–3 years' control valve experience desired; hydraulics/pneumatics helpful but not required.
• Basic computer proficiency, MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Repair relief valves, control valves, on/off valves, and pneumatic actuators at FCX centers or customer locations.
• Mechanically and electrically troubleshoot, inspect, and test valves on worksites.
• Perform pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in-process inspection, machining, lapping, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection.
• Complete field service worksheets and submit to job coordinator.
• Understand pneumatic and digital controls; reference valve manuals as needed.
