Job summary

AWC, Inc. is seeking a Valve Services Coordinator in Deer Park, TX to manage valve and service orders across parts, repair, automation, and field services.

This onsite role focuses on day-to-day shop operations, prioritization, and production scheduling while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organization; experience in valve services or as a coordinator is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Collaborative team player with strong verbal and written communication.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of material flow within shop operations preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking direction when needed.
• Previous experience as a Service Coordinator or Valve Technician is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Inside Sales and Shop with Order Coordination, update material costs, and code material orders.
• Send packing slips to Shipping and Receiving; follow up on past due vendor orders; notify potential issues.
• Review, edit, and send valve quality documentation including Repair Reports to customers; prepare reports.
• Schedule Field Service Pre-Job meetings; document work scope, schedule, equipment, and safety concerns.
• Update Service Orders and Technician assignments; close out jobs on Field Service calendar.
• Attend Warehouse production meetings and circulate meeting recaps with priorities.
