Job summary

AWC is seeking Service Technicians to assemble, repair, and service isolation and control valves in field and shop settings. You will collaborate with clients to ensure valve safety and proper operation within process systems.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of valves, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. Strong technical skills and customer-focused service are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 2+ years in automated, PSV and instrumentation valve assembly or repair, testing, reconditioning, or modification experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams with clear communication.
• Familiarity with measurement devices, hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on instrumentation, control, and isolation valves.
• Conduct on-site inspections and service calls to diagnose valve issues and ensure safety standards.
• Test and calibrate valves and related instrumentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain detailed service records, including inspection reports and calibration results.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on valve operation and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during service activities.
