Job summary

Valmet is seeking a Valve Repair Technician in Houston, TX. You will clean and repair valves, actuators and accessories under supervision, identify needed parts, and coordinate with other departments to obtain them.

You will repair, assemble and test valves using various tools and shop equipment, maintain an orderly workspace, and ensure parts and tools are ready for use. A high school diploma and 1–3+ years in a mechanical workshop are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years’ work experience in mechanical workshop environment or repair and maintenance activity.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities
